The key to recovery

After experiencing a traumatic event we can be stuck in the stress response, so innocuous, everyday situations are perceived as threatening. The key to recovery is to evoke the relaxation response to release neurochemicals in the body which then create a soothing effect on the mind.


I offer online and in-person private classes that take a gentler approach to yoga and focus on accessible postures, and nourishing breathing exercises.​ 


My practice focuses on the mind and body simultaneously, to develop both mental and physical awareness which can be a useful step in stress, anxiety and trauma recovery.

A Safe Introduction to Yoga
If you’re completely new to yoga, you might find group classes a little overwhelming. My therapeutic sessions allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your goals and needs.


£25 per hour
