Please read carefully when booking any activity with The Yoga Company:


I agree to the following:

  1. That I am participating in The Yoga Company yoga classes or sound bath workshops, during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga, physical exercise, health & wellness. I recognise that these activities may require physical exertion which could be strenuous and that I may use equipment which could potentially cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

  2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the yoga classes or sound bath workshops offered by my instructor or substitute teacher. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition, which would prevent my full participation in these yoga classes, health programmes or sound bath workshops.

  3. If I am pregnant I understand that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my unborn child/children.

  4. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga classes, health programmes or workshops, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or programmes offered by my instructor or substitute teacher.

  5. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga classes, health programmes or workshops, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against my instructor or substitute teacher or The Yoga Company for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in these programmes.

  6. I understand that from time to time during yoga classes or workshops, the instructor may physically adjust students’ form or posture. If I do not want such physical adjustments, I will so inform the instructor at each class I attend. I also acknowledge that if I do wish to receive such adjustments, it is my responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as I desire at that time.

  7. I hereby take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with yoga classes, workshop or any other events.

  8. In the event that I cannot attend a class or workshop, I understand and accept that a full refund will only be provided if 24hours notice is provided.

  9. I understand that if I arrive after the yoga class or sound bath workshop has started that I may not be permitted entry to the class and I will not receive a refund or be able to reschedule the date.

How The Yoga Company uses this information:

The information we collect may be used to provide you with products, offers and services, to deliver to you advertisements, offers or other content tailored to your interests, and to conduct other The Yoga Company business operations.


We may use the information we collect to:

answer questions or respond to your requests; develop new products and services; create and manage your account; protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions; send you email and/or postal messages with information about The Yoga Company content we think may be of interest to you; telephone you about our brand and other content we think may be of interest to you; provide Marketing tailored to your interests, including interest-based marketing; allow you to participate in social sharing on our websites; analyse the use of, and develop, our products, services and marketing and enforce our Terms and Conditions and otherwise manage our business.

Social Networks and Third-Party Plug-ins

Our websites may include plugins from social networks or other third parties. An example of a plugin is the Facebook “Like” button. Where legally permitted, these plugins may communicate with and send information to the party that provided the plugin, even if you do not click on the plugin. This information may include your IP address, information about your browser and device, and the address of the web page you are visiting on our site. Loading, using or clicking the plugins may also place, read and transmit cookies. These cookies may contain a unique identifier the social network or third party assigns to you.

User Generated Content

Please remember that any information you submit or post as user-generated content to Social Media sites become public information. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal, financial or other information in such submissions or posts. The Yoga Company cannot prevent others from using such information in a manner that may violate this Privacy Statement, the law, or your personal privacy and safety. The Yoga Company is not responsible for the results of such postings. 


Information Security

The Yoga Company is committed to keeping personal information secure. We have implemented technical, administrative and physical procedures designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. We limit access to personal information to those who have a business need. We keep personal information only for so long as deemed reasonably necessary.


Children’s privacy

Our Sites are not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen on our Sites.

Food Allergens

The Yoga Company provides vegetarian food at our retreats. 

We cannot guarantee that during the preparation of food that there has been no exposure to any of the allergens listed below. Please contact us directly if you have specific needs.

Allergens - Celery, cereals containing gluten (such as barley and oats), crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters), eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs (such as mussels and oysters), mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if the sulphur dioxide and sulphites are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million) and tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts). This also applies to additives, processing aids and any other substances which are present in the final product.
